Some basic steps are needed to be followed if you are really going to take care of your skin. Aging is a process which cannot be stopped but if we follow a good lifestyle we can dramatically slow down the process of aging.

Mentioned below are few basic steps of a good skincare routine:

  1. Morning Skin Love (Lets Start)
  2. Throughout the Day Maintenance (optional)
  3. Evening Skin Pamper (Important)
  4. Master Exfoliation (Twice a Week)

Morning

A primary objective of a skincare regime is to fuel our skin with ingredients which will help it cope with the harsh conditions and will help it stay younger.

Step 1: Give your face a splash of warm water and cleanse it with a good sensitive cleanser designed for dry skin.

Step 2: Tap dry your skin and make sure that you don’t hurt your skin by rubbing it with a towel.

Step 3: Apply a good amount of anti aging moisturizer to your face using your fingertips only.

Step 4: Give your face a gentle massage focusing the areas with wrinkles and age spots.


 

Day

This is an optional step and should be considered only if your skin is super dry. This kind of situation might arise for very few of you divas out there.

I repeat this is an optional step and only some may need it. Otherwise the moisturizer that we apply in the morning will take care of our skin throughout the day.

What if your skin feels dry in the afternoon? First of all don’t panic, it can happen and it can be taken care of very easily. What you need to do is take that SPF moisturizer out of your bag that you used once upon a time.

Step 1: Drink water continuously to keep you hydrated

Step 2: Apply a small amount (very thin layer) of the moisturizer to your face and you are good to go.


 

Evening

This is a very important step. What you all beautiful ladies do is take care of your skin in the morning and you tend to forget that your skin also needs some food. Yeah you need to feed the skin with good vitamins and minerals. But what you do, you come home have your dinner and go to sleep.

No, that’s the last time you did that. From now on, you will follow this simple regime and you will feed your skin and believe me you will see the difference later.

From now, what you should do is,

Step 1: Have a good dinner

Step 2: Wash your face with lukewarm water and cleanse it with the same cleanser that you used in the morning.

Step 3: Tap dry your face with a soft towel

Step 4: Before going to sleep just apply a very thin layer of the anti aging moisturizer.

Applying the moisturizer in night will help build up collagen in your skin and will also slow down aging process by supplying the skin with essential ingredients.


 

Exfoliation

Now we turn to our master step, and this is very important in terms of following an anti aging routine.

When was the last time you used an exfoliator? If I am not wrong it’s been quite long, isn’t it? Exfoliation is a very important process it helps in clearing the skin off the dead cells and helps the skin.

But what you need to keep in mind is that using an exfoliator or dry brush will not work for you because you already have dry skin and the exfoliators which are good for others can be harsh for your skin.

Follow this exfoliation process:

Step 1: Take a wash cloth and wash it with warm water.

Step 2: Take the wash cloth and fold it over your hand.

Step 3: Start at your forehead and move down rubbing skin gently in circular motions.

Step 4: Make sure you target all the oily areas of your face.

Step 5: Tap dry your face with a towel.

Taking care of your skin is not an easy process as you need to give it time and also your love. Skincare routine can be easy to follow once you become used to it. You will see the difference it can make to your skin and you will also look young and beautiful.
